In the light of the Court's case-law that persons deprived of their liberty are entitled to special diligence in proceedings to which they are a party (see the Tomasi v. France judgment of 27 August 1992, Series A no. 241-A, p. 35, § 84), this reason undoubtedly constitutes an objective and reasonable justification for the difference in treatment complained of.
