As regards the applicant's complaint related to the alleged unfairness of the proceedings, the Court recalls its case-law that it is not for the Court to deal with errors of fact or law allegedly committed by a national court unless and in so far as they may have infringed rights and freedoms protected by the Convention (García Ruiz v. As far as the applicant's complaint about the Supreme Court's failure to hear her, the Court recalls that, provided that a public hearing has been held at first instance, leave to appeal proceedings and proceedings involving only questions of law, as opposed to questions of fact, may comply with the requirements of Article 6, although the appellant was not given an opportunity of being heard in person by the appeal or cassation court (see for instance the Helmers v. Sweden judgment of 29 October 1991, Series A no. 212-A, p. 16, § 36).
