RIBITSCH c. AUTRICHE
Auszug aus EGMR, 30.08.2007 - 33396/02
Nonetheless, where allegations are made under Article 3 of the Convention, as in the present case, the Court must apply a particularly thorough scrutiny (see, mutatis mutandis, Ribitsch v. Austria, judgment of 4 December 1995, Series A no. 336, § 32, and Avsar, cited above, § 283).

M.C.G. AND OTHERS v. NORTH MACEDONIA
It is to be noted that the criminal complaint was very brief (see paragraph 3 above) and did not include a detailed description of concrete acts of the alleged physical and verbal violence (see, for example, Yildirim v. Turkey (dec.), no. 33396/02, 30 August 2007; contrast Valiuliene v. Lithuania, no. 33234/07, §§ 9 and 80, 26 March 2013, and M. and M. v. Croatia, no. 10161/13, §§ 133-34, ECHR 2015 (extracts)) or of the circumstances in which they had allegedly occurred. - EGMR, 06.10.2009 - 38381/06
ERKUS v. TURKEY
In sum, the Court is of the opinion that any ill-treatment inflicted in the way alleged by the applicant would have left marks other than two grazes on his body which would have been observed by the doctors on 20 and 21 August 2002 (see Tanrıkulu and Others v. Turkey (dec.), no. 45907/99, 22 October 2002, and Yıldırım v. Turkey (dec.), no. 33396/02, ECHR 30 August 2007).
