FREDIN c. SUÈDE (N° 1)
Auszug aus EGMR, 30.10.1991 - 11796/85
As regards the structure of this provision and the relationship between its component parts, the Court refers to its long- established case-law (see, as the most recent authority, the Fredin judgment of 18 February 1991, Series A no. 192, p. 14, para. 41).The Court recognises that in determining what measures were necessary in the general interest, the Austrian agricultural authorities, being in direct contact with the local situation, enjoyed a margin of appreciation (see, mutatis mutandis, amongst other authorities, the above-mentioned Fredin judgment, Series A no. 192, p. 17, para. 51), provided that the requisite fair balance was struck (see paragraph 73 above).

Zimmermann und Steiner ./. Schweiz
Auszug aus EGMR, 30.10.1991 - 11796/85
In addition, only delays attributable to the State may justify a finding of a failure to comply with the "reasonable time" requirement (see, inter alia, the Zimmermann and Steiner judgment of 13 July 1983, Series A no. 66, p. 11, para. 24). - EGMR, 21.02.1990 - 9310/81
POWELL ET RAYNER c. ROYAUME-UNI
Auszug aus EGMR, 30.10.1991 - 11796/85
Since the Court's jurisdiction is delimited by the Commission's decision on admissibility (see, amongst many authorities, the Powell and Rayner judgment of 21 February 1990, Series A no. 172, p. 13, para. 29), the Court is not empowered to entertain the applicants" first complaint.

C.R. c. FRANCE
Autriche, arrêt du 23 avril 1987, série A no 117, p. 62, § 65 ; Poiss c. Autriche, arrêt du 23 avril 1987, série A no 117-C, p. 103, § 50 ; Wiesinger c. Autriche, arrêt du 23 avril 1987, série A no 117, § 68).
- EGMR, 14.11.2000 - 36436/97
PIRON c. FRANCE
Autriche, 23 avril 1987, § 68, série A no 117 ; Wiesinger c. Autriche, 30 octobre 1991, § 57, série A no 213).

ZAGREBACKA BANKA D.D. v. CROATIA
The latter Article concerns the substance of the right of property and its breach cannot be determined solely in the light of the same criteria relevant for determining whether there was a breach of Article 6 of the Convention, as other elements are also relevant (see Wiesinger v. Austria, 30 October 1991, § 77, Series A no. 213). - EGMR, 22.01.2009 - 18274/04
BORZHONOV v. RUSSIA
Although the availability of alternative solutions does not in itself render the interference with the applicant's right unjustified, it constitutes a relevant factor when determining whether the means chosen may be regarded as reasonable and suited to achieving the legitimate aim being pursued (see James and Others v. the United Kingdom, 21 February 1986, § 51, Series A no. 98; and Wiesinger v. Austria, 30 October 1991, § 77, Series A no. 213). - Generalanwalt beim EuGH, 08.04.2014 - C-377/13

VASSILIOS ATHANASIOU ET AUTRES c. GRECE
Autriche, 30 octobre 1991, § 57, série A no 213 ; Erkner et Hofauer c. Autriche, 23 avril 1987, § 68, série A no 117). - EGMR, 02.11.2010 - 27103/04
ALEKSEY PETROV v. BULGARIA
Even if that period of time was more than what was permissible under domestic law, it did not render the length of the proceedings excessive (see, mutatis mutandis, Pretto and Others v. Italy, 8 December 1983, § 37, Series A no. 71; Wiesinger v. Austria, 30 October 1991, § 60, Series A no. 213; and Estrikh v. Latvia, no. 73819/01, § 138, 18 January 2007). - EGMR, 18.01.2007 - 73819/01
ESTRIKH v. LATVIA
The Court reiterates that failure to abide by the time-limit prescribed by domestic law does not in itself contravene Article 6 § 1 of the Convention (see Wiesinger v. Austria, judgment of 30 October 1991, Series A no. 213, p. 22, § 60), however Article 6 § 1 imposes on the Contracting States the duty to organise their judicial systems in such a way that their courts can meet each of its requirements, including the obligation to hear cases within a reasonable time (Kyrtatos v. Greece, no. 41666/98, § 42, ECHR 2003-VI). - EGMR, 09.11.2006 - 64772/01

Pays-Bas du 9 février 1995, série A no 306-A). - EGMR, 08.03.2011 - 12739/05
