    The case originated in five applications (nos. 31913/07, 38357/07, 48098/07, 48777/07 and 48779/07) against the Republic of Austria lodged with the Court under Article 34 of the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms ("the Convention") by four Austrian nationals, Mr E.B.
