In the present case the giving of information to the press can reasonably be regarded as being "necessary in a democratic society" for the legitimate aim of ensuring the right of the public to receive information (cf., mutatis mutandis, Eur. Court H.R., Allenet de Ribemont judgment of 10 February 1995, Series A no. 308, para. 38).
