As to the complaints under Article 5 §§ 2 and 3 of the Convention, the Court notes that the applicant was arrested on 9 August 2005 and that his pre-trial detention ended on 18 October 2006 with his conviction at first instance by the Tbilisi City Court (see Assanidze v.
