In addition, if one or more heads of damage cannot be calculated precisely or if the distinction between pecuniary and non-pecuniary damage proves difficult, the Court may decide to make a global assessment (see Comingersoll S.A. v. Portugal [GC], no. 35382/97, § 29, ECHR 2000-IV). - EGMR, 17.12.2009 - 4563/07

- EGMR, 22.11.2016 - 4629/07
BELOVA v. RUSSIA
The Court reiterates its constant approach that in the absence of a fundamental defect in the previous proceedings a party's disagreement with the assessment made by the first-instance and appeal courts is not a circumstance of a substantial and compelling character warranting the quashing of a binding and enforceable judgment and re-opening of the proceedings on the applicant's claim (see Kovalenko and others v. Russia [Committee], nos. 36299/03, 14222/04, 15030/04, 36581/04, 1407/05, 2071/05 and 24618/05, § 16, 8 December 2015). - EGMR, 25.07.2017 - 6131/07
KOROBEYNIKOV v. RUSSIA
Some of those violations were found in similar circumstances and similarly concerned the quashing of final domestic judgments making awards in respect of social benefits (see, among many other authorities, Kovalenko and Others, [Committee], nos. 36299/03 and 6 others, 8 December 2015; Zelenkevich and Others v. Russia, [Committee], no. 14805/02, 20 June 2013; and, on account of the social benefit certificates, Fomin and Sivayeva v. Russia, no. 3141/08, 16 June 2017). - EGMR, 19.04.2016 - 18451/04
DOLBIN v. RUSSIA
The Court notes that the present case is similar to numerous other Russian cases that concern the same issues it has already addressed in numerous other judgments finding violations of the Convention on account of the quashing of final judgments by way of the supervisory review procedure and non-enforcement of domestic judicial decisions (see, for instance, Moskalenko and Others v. Ukraine [Committee], nos. 1270/12 and 246 others, § 23, 18 July 2013, and, most recent, (see Kovalenko and others v. Russia [Committee], nos. 36299/03, 14222/04, 15030/04, 36581/04, 1407/05, 2071/05 and 24618/05, §§ 39-43, 8 December 2015).
