In the Government's view, the courts had therefore complied with the Court's case-law requiring them to carry out an individual examination of the child's best interests and to give them primary consideration, while carefully balancing all the interests at stake (the Government referred to Honner v. France, no. 19511/16, §§ 55 and 61, 12 November 2020, and, conversely, to Bogonosovy v. Russia, no. 38201/16, § 94, 5 March 2019).
