- EGMR, 12.07.2013 - 25424/09
ALLEN c. ROYAUME-UNI
(f) the refusal of civil claims lodged by the applicant against insurers (see Lundkvist v. Sweden (dec.), no. 48518/99, ECHR 2003-XI; and Reeves v. Norway (dec.), no. 4248/02, 8 July 2004);.It is as much as saying that "whether the reasons [given in the civil judgment] gave rise to an issue under Article 6 § 2 must be viewed in the context of the proceedings as a whole and their special features" (Reeves v. Norway (dec.) no. 4248/02, 8 July 2004).

KREBS v. GERMANY
63; N. A. ./. Norwegen, Individualbeschwerde Nr. 27473/11, Rdnrn. 41-49, 18. Dezember 2014; Reeves ./. Norwegen (Entsch.), Individualbeschwerde Nr. 4248/02, 8. Juli 2004;… und Ringvold ./. Norwegen, Individualbeschwerde Nr. 34964/97, Rdnr. 38, ECHR 2003 II).

ORR v. NORWAY
These principles were reiterated in Pamela Kay Reeves v. Norway (dec.) no. 4248/02, 08.07.2004; and Tommy Lundkvist v. Sweden (dec.) 48518/99, 13.11.2003.Those were Commission decisions that stated in no uncertain terms that the difference in the respective standards of proof constitutes a sufficient distinction between a criminal charge on which there has been an acquittal and a civil claim "arising out of the same events." The same principles were, shortly after Y. and Ringvold (cited above), applied in Lundkvist v. Sweden (dec.) no. 48518/99, ECHR, 13 November 2003 and Reeves v. Norway (dec.) no. 4248/02, 8 July 2004.

126; A.L. ./. Deutschland , Individualbeschwerde Nr. 72758/01, Rdnrn. 39-39, 28. April 2005 und Reeves ./. Norwegen (Entsch.), Individualbeschwerde Nr. 4248/02, 8. Juli 2004). - EGMR, 03.10.2019 - 61985/12
FLEISCHNER v. GERMANY
Bei unglücklichen Formulierungen hat der Gerichtshof es für notwendig erachtet, den Kontext des gesamten Verfahrens und dessen Eigenheiten zu betrachten (…siehe N.A../. Norwegen, a.a.O., Rdnrn. 41, 42 und 49; Reeves./. Norwegen (Entsch.), Individualbeschwerde Nr. 4248/02, 8. Juli 2004;… und Ringvold./. Norwegen, Individualbeschwerde Nr. 34964/97, Rdnr. 38, ECHR 2003 II). - EGMR, 17.09.2020 - 58444/15
GRUBNYK v. UKRAINE
The Court's case-law provides some examples of instances where no violation of Article 6 § 2 was found even though the language used by domestic authorities and courts had been criticised (see Allen v. the United Kingdom [GC], no. 25424/09, § 126, ECHR 2013, citing, in the latter respect, Reeves v. Norway (dec.), no. 4248/02, 8 July 2004, and A.L. v. Germany, no. 72758/01, §§ 38-39, 28 April 2005). - EGMR, 18.12.2014 - 27473/11
N.A. v. NORWAY
And as regards the second and third criteria, the Court finds equally valid the following considerations set out in paragraph 38 of the Ringvold judgment (see also Y. v. Norway, cited above, § 41; Orr, cited above, § 49; Reeves v. Norway (dec.), no. 4248/02, 8 July 2004; Diacenco v. Romania, no. 124/04, §§ 58-59, 7 February 2012; see also, mutatis mutandis, Lundkvist v. Sweden (dec.), no. 48518/99, ECHR 2003-XI; Erkol v. Turkey, no. 50172/06, § 37, 19 April 2011; and Allen, cited above, § 123):. - EGMR, 11.02.2014 - 69122/10
VELLA v. MALTA
In all cases, and no matter what the approach applied, the language used by the decision-maker will be of critical importance in assessing the compatibility of the decision and its reasoning with Article 6 § 2 (see, for example, Y. v. Norway, cited above, §§ 43-46; O. v. Norway, no. 29327/95, ECHR 2003-..., §§ 39-40; Hammern v. Norway, no. 30287/96, ECHR 2003-..., §§ 47-48; Baars v. the Netherlands, no. 44320/98, §§ 29-31, 28 October 2003; Panteleyenko v. Ukraine, no. 11901/02, § 70, 29 June 2006; Reeves v. Norway (dec.), no. 4248/02, 8 July 2004; and Konstas v. Greece, no. 53466/07, § 34, 24 May 2011). - EGMR, 31.10.2013 - 8045/10
MOSINIAN c.
Norvège, no 56568/00, §§ 43-46, CEDH 2003-XI ; O. c. Norvège, no 29327/95, §§ 39-40, CEDH 2003-II ; Hammern c. Norvège, no 30287/96, §§ 47-48, 11 février 2003 ; Baars c. Pays-Bas, no 44320/95, §§ 29-31, 28 octobre 2003 ; Reeves c. Norvège, (déc.), no 4248/02, 8 juillet 2004 ; Panteleyenko c. Ukraine, no 11901/02, § 70, 29 juin 2006 ; Grabtchouk c. Ukraine, no 8599/02, § 45, 21 septembre 2006 et Konstas c. Grèce, no 53466/07, § 34, 24 mai 2011). - EGMR, 21.10.2014 - 55857/07
